Witcher's Silver Sword

A Witcher's silver sword I modeled based off the one used by Geralt in the Witcher 3. The dimensions are nearly identical to the ones mentioned in the books (12" hilt, 27.75" blade). I plan to upload another version later with additional detail on the model including the runes you see etched on the side in the game.

This was designed to be a decorative model and is not strong enough without modifications to be used for cosplay or anything else.

Post-Printing

I roughed the edges of each section with sandpaper and used Loctite Gel Control super glue to connect the pieces. After that I used a filler on any gaps and sanded them down. I used three different color Rustoleum paint + primer spray paints for the components which gave it a metallic look.

How I Designed This

I used google sketch up and modeled it after pictures. Dimensions were taken from the books and by eye, based off the models used in game.
