Description
I've been designing earrings for my wife for some time now. We recently hung a smaller Ikea Skadis unit for her to organize all of those earrings. It works pretty good but is kind of clumsy getting the earrings on and off of the Skadis unit. So, looking for something to design I whipped up what I think is a little better of a solution. I've included two models. One is a little longer and has 10 slots. The other is considerably smaller and had 5 slots. We've also found that you can easily place multiple pairs in one slot.
Bill of materials:
About 10 - 20 grams of filament. Roughly $.30 to print for the larger and $.15 for the smaller one. Great for finishing up that little bit on a roll of filament.
Printing:
No supports needed. Just make sure the place the edge with the top of the hooks facing down on the bed.
Layer height: .20 mm
Infill: 10%
Assembly:
Place on to Skadis.
