Description
This model takes traditional Lunar New Year celebration decorations and brings them into the 3D printing world. The components are all derived of elements from typical Lunar New Year celebrations welcoming the season of Spring.
In these photos I included a rabbit in the display to represent 2023: the Year of the Rabbit. You can find the rabbit file here. To prepare for future years I will upload the animals for the coming years as well.
All pieces were attached with gorilla glue. The daffodils, clouds and optional rabbit all require you to attach a pin to each which will then be glued to the diamond.
All parts were printed without supports. No post processing was necessary except the bridge-holder for the stamen was cut so that the stamen could be glued to the blossom.
Print list:
I encountered an issue when installing the blossoms on my original brand but I changed the 3D model to accommodate for the space needed.
The colors are standard PLA except for the gold which is a Silk PLA.
