Introducing the 3D printed papermaking frame, a revolutionary and sustainable way to make paper at home. This frame is designed to be printed out with a 3D printer and can be used to create paper of any shape or size you desire. The frame is made up of a printed mesh that holds the fibers together while the water is drained away, leaving behind a smooth and even sheet of paper.

Traditionally, paper is made at home out of recycled old paper by breaking it down into a pulp and then formed into new paper using a frame similar to this one. This is a great way to reduce waste and repurpose old paper.

The process of making paper with this frame is simple and easy. First, you'll need to gather your materials, which include oak sawdust pellets and Reishi mushrooms. The mushrooms are essential to the process as their mycelium helps break down the lignin in the sawdust, which is necessary to make paper. Once you have your materials, you'll need to process the sawdust pellets into a pulp. This can be done by mixing the sawdust with water and blending it until it reaches the desired consistency.

Next, you'll need to pour the pulp into the 3D printed frame and press it to remove as much water as possible. The frame's wooden mesh will hold the fibers together while the water is drained away. Once the water has been removed, you can hang the frame to dry, or press it further with a press machine.

Once the paper is dry, it's ready to be used. You can laser engrave designs onto it, or use it to make beautiful flower pictures to hang on your wall. The paper is strong and durable, and it's made without the use of any chemicals.

In addition to being easy to use and environmentally friendly, the 3D printed papermaking frame is also versatile. You can experiment with different materials and fibers to create unique and interesting papers. You can also test other plants, such as bamboo sawdust, to see if the process works.

Overall, the 3D printed papermaking frame is a great way to make paper at home, in a sustainable and eco-friendly way. It's easy to use, versatile and the process works without any chemicals. Give it a try and see for yourself!

I add this introductional YouTube video, where I showcase my Zen mushroom art dedicated to the work of Red Pine. Inspired by the teachings of Zen Buddhism, I aimed to memorize the key concepts and etch them into wood using a CO2 laser.

The art pieces consist of pictures and gathas, each comprising eight lines, highlighting the core truths of Zen. The artwork is a testament to the beauty and simplicity of Zen, and I am excited to share these pieces with you.

To create these masterpieces, I utilized mushroom paper and manual painting in conjunction with CO2 laser engraving. The result is a stunning fusion of modern technology and traditional art, highlighting the timeless truths of Zen.

I hope you enjoy this journey through my Zen mushroom art and gain a deeper understanding of the core concepts of Zen Buddhism. Remember to stay humble, helpful, and happy as we continue to explore the beauty of Zen.
