Parametric Paracord Spool - Paraspool

I've looked at all the paracord spools and tried a few but none of them checked all the boxes. This one is parametric, material efficient, has multiple cleats, a loop to hang and a loop to tie off the start. The default model size included is good at least 100ft/30m, [UPDATE] added 50ft/15m spool .3mf size. The photo shows a 30m hank I received from AliExpress which is a bit thinner than most domestic paracord in my experience.

Use Fusion 360 to generate any size you need.

Parameters:

If you are not familiar with fusion 360, you can generate a new model with these detailed steps once you have Fusion 360 installed and logged-in:

1. Download the .f3d
2. FIle menu ⟫ Open… (CTRL/CMD S)
3. Click Open from my computer
4. Select the .f3d file on your hard drive
5. Type SHIFT P to open parameters dialog/window.
6. Edit parameters listed below by clicking value in Expression column
7. Click OK button at bottom of parameter dialog
8. File ⟫ Save (CTRL/CMD S)
9. Give your project a name
10. In the “browser” (list left of model image) right click on the top item which should be the name you just used to save the project and pick Save As Mesh
11. Choose format of 3MF or STL, Refinement (I use High), click OK
12. Give your mesh file a name and click Save
