Description
As I said, just something fun. I make lanyard and EDC beads by hand with a lathe and mill(no CNC!), and a revolver cylinder has been on the todo list for a while, this seemed like a nice way to mock up parameters/ratios etc.(an a dang sight easier way to make it anyway!) Didn't bother with the ratchet on the end, truth be told I forgot that part. lol.
Then I wondered if I could print it any faster in Vase mode, so I sliced it up. Does print about twice as fast.
Roughly .22 calliber, but not real exact. I did it by eye, not by calipers. My printed bead is saled down in Cura! Files are for full size with .22/6mm bore holes!
Don't anyone go putting cartridges in this and blowing themselves up! ;-D
The full revolver might follow… Slowly. The first time I modeled it took forever, and that was 20 years ago… And I'm kinda out of practice.
