Description
Started with my printing a couple vases, and a bunch of vase mode roses for my mother for her birthday recently. It ended up as two sets because of simplicity, and lack of horizontal spaces to put one big vase… Thus my idea for a couple little display shelves. I'm a wood worker but I wanted to keep with the printed them, but an hour on Printables didn't reveal any shelf brackets I liked for this. And so, off to the races again to design something!
Round shelves for round vases became fancy hexagonal shelves, and curved brackets, and then became one assembly… Called a wall sconce as I recall. Somewhat of a castle look to them… Could be nifty candle holders, or as I did for vase, small pictures? I dunno. You'll think of something. :-D
Original has a big hole in the top, to reduce used plastic, since the vases and bases for them were bigger in DIA anyway. Added a version here with full solid top.
I printed it upside down on its top, but probably go just as well on its back. The one in the pictures is at 0.25mm layers, 0.4 lines from a 0.4 nozzle, 1.2 walls, 8% infill, in Isanmen pear wood PLA, took about 2.5 hours to print.
