Mini / Micro Drywall Mud Pans /w Lids

Personally I prefer to keep and use drywall mud (joint compound) in a powder form rather than spackling compound because #1 it's way cheaper and #2 it doesn't dry up and expire in a month or two.  You can just mix up however much powder you need when you need it to repair small holes in your wall or whatever.

Typical drywall mud pans are around 4" by 14" or so which is way too large for most small home repairs.  These models maintain a square profile for easy scraping of your knives but are less than half the size for just small and simple repair jobs.  The “Micro” one can fit your standard 2" putty knives, while the “Mini” one can fit larger 4" taping knives.

The bottoms are slightly thicker (2mm walls all around but the bottom is 8mm) so that the pans are bottom heavy and less prone to tipping.  For that reason I recommend printing these at 100% infill so they have a bit more heft to them.

Granted I made this model with the intention of using it as a drywall mud pan, but I guess it can really be used as a flower pot or whatever as well.
