Generic U-lock holder

This is a print designed to hold the 2 halves of a U-lock together when not in use.

The part consist of 2 semi-circles, the smaller circle has an internal diameter of 18mm as snaps on to the U-bar, the larger circle has an internal diameter of 43mm and attaches to the lock using a zip-tie.

The holder has an integrated hole for the zip-tie to pass through and a slanted edge on one of the two sides to sit the head of the zip-tie correctly.

Print instructions

print using a weatherproof material (i used PETG).
print laying flat on the surface without supports.
100% infill or set vertical shells to 6 to print only using shells.

after printing insert zip-tie in the hole as shown in the photo and attach it the the lock.
