Description
I was looking for a large capacity battery holder for 16 AA or AAA batteries to store some IKEA LADDA rechargeable batteries. Nothing I found exactly fit the bill and worked for me so I decided to make my own.
I made the lids magnetic because everything is better with magnets, right?!
The magnets are:
The magnets should be press fit but a little glue might help if your printer filament mix give a looser fit.
If you print both containers you will need 16 of the little magnets and 2 of the larger ones.
When inserting make sure they are the right way around to attract and not repel as once they are in they probably won’t come back out!
I printed mine in Prusament PLA but any other materials should work just as well.
Layer height and infill are fairly irrelevant whatever you normally use should work just fine.
