Description
A useful tower for sorting small parts. Each segment has a bead at the top and runs slightly slanted upwards. So the individual segments can be perfectly stacked on top of each other. Fill small parts at the top and then make rotating shaking movements (works best by pushing it in rotating movements over as smooth a surface as possible).
Through the lid, after removing the top tiers for the smallest parts, you can also move the whole tower up and down to improve sorting.
All parts (except for the bottom and lid) are labeled with the diameter of the respective holes. So the tower can be stacked together again at any time in the correct order (from small to large).
All holes are beveled at the bottom so that they are larger at the bottom than at the top (on the 10mm sieve, the hole at the bottom of the sieve has 13mm). This facilitates the slipping through of tightly fitting parts.
Starting with the lowest part with a height of 20mm (bottom to bead), each next size is 5mm higher than the size before.
For the first prints, I definitely recommend printing the bottom and then 1-2 parts of different sizes (for example 8 and 16mm). Intermediate sizes can be inserted at any time as needed.
I have printed the parts in different colors, so it looks again a little nicer and you find the right sizes faster again.
No support is needed (even if the slicer may grumble).
I've printed using the Bambu Studio standard profile for 0.20mm and removed the rim, supports and added 3x adaptive smoothing to each print.
