Description
I love the espresso I pull with my Kinu hand grinder, but early in the morning Iām not always in the mood for a workout. This adapter allows me to drive my Kinu M47 Phoenix with a 17mm hex impact socket attached to a powerdrill, saving a bit of labor.
The crossbar piece might be better off made out of metal or a wooden dowel, but PLA is working for me so far. You can technically use the adapter without the crossbar piece by leaving the stock Kinu handle in place, however it throws the balance off quite considerably and becomes a bit dangerous when spinning wildly, so I do not recommend it.
Printed in Filamentum Vertigo Galaxy with 70% infill and five perimeters at a 0.1mm layer height on a stock Prusa i3 MK3S+. No supports are necessary if you flip the model upside-down and rest it flat on the hex end, with the circular end pointing upward.
Run your drill slowly for a more consistent particle size and to avoid damaging your precious grinder.
This adapter is likely also compatible with the Kinu M47 Simplicity and Classic models, though I have not tested them. Please share if you can confirm compatibility.
