Description

Not much to talk about, it's a pocket coin holder/dispenser for Euro coins. Dimensions:

  • Length: 78mm
  • Width: 52mm
  • Height: 18mm

There is one extra file available if you wish to make it a bit taller. Standard 18mm version will hold 4 coins (each value), and one extra 5¢ coin as that's a lot thinner. The enlarged version will hold 6 standard coins, and around 8 of 5¢ coins.

I also have a Czech Koruna version of this: https://www.printables.com/model/378392-czech-koruna-coin-pocket-holder

Additional, non-printed parts

This print requires 6 springs and 4 screws. The screws are countersunk screws, size is M3x16mm.

The springs are small compression springs, with a wide diameter of 0.6mm, outside diameter of 12mm, and length of 20mm.

These springs are a perfect match for this (select the sizes mentioned above): https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004196158892.html

Note: 25mm springs and 20mm screws are required for the larger 23mm version. Screws must not be larger than 16mm for small version, or 21mm for large version, otherwise they'll stick out of the bottom and/or break the parts.

Printing and post processing:

  • No supports needed
  • Recommend lightly sanding surfaces which will interface with one another (where the base joins with the top)
  • If your print is prone to zits and blobs, sand these down too, otherwise the coins and discs will snag and not move properly
  • Alternatively, the base and top can be glued together rather than screwed together. This will, however, prevent the coin discs and springs from being removed without breaking it
