Description
*Note: Newer version available here
This tool is to remove the PTFE tube from the outlet end of the Bambu Lab Filament Buffer or the AMS hub (the device on the back of the printer that joins multiple AMS units, not the device inside the AMS unit which is also named AMS hub) to replace the tube or remove broken filament.
You've probably seen the little buttons (which I have intalled) to easily take out the PTFE tubes from the inlet of the AMS hub but what about the outlet?! This requires getting in between the loops on the spring to get to the fitting.
I saw a tool like this being used in an official Bambu Lab video titled "Replacing the PTFE Tubes for the AMS Hub". I searched for this tool to print it but came up empty handed. Did everyone else get one with the unit? I don't know. So, I decided to fire up FreeCAD and make one. Maybe that's what everyone else did to :/
I have included the FreeCAD save if anyone wants to modify/improve it.
