Cooler Can-Caddie (soda/beer can holder for transport)

the Cooler Can-Caddie

I play disc golf. My disc golf bag has a built-in soft walled cooler. It is a delightful bag. The cooler section has the capacity to snugly fit 24 average sized beverage cans.

However, rarely do I actually transport that many cans whilst playing, so more often than not my cans get tossed about and end up causing quite the foamy mess when opened.

So I stayed up late and designed then printed this… thing. It's basically a bunch of candle holders stuck together. Or maybe egg cups. Like, a beer bra but for the bottom of the beverage.

I designed it specifically for my cooler but you could design your own for a variety of purposes I imagine. The only important measurement you need to know is the inside diameter - 68mm. The diameter of an average beer/soda can is 2.6", so I made the inner diameter just a couple smidges bigger than that.

I printed it at 0.32mm with a 0.8mm nozzle, no supports. It's a little “rough” but it works perfectly. Use smaller layer heights/nozzles for more aesthetically pleasing results.
