Description
I already had some “Bauhaus” versions of this kind of Euroboxes. So I decided to upgrade them to be really closed and have a colorful look besides the sad gray.
The only difference I added to the original is some chamfering of the inside plate for a nicer finish together with a version for the 30cm boxes (short end), because the insert is smaller in length.
Please forgive me that I just used the STLs for modifying and do not supply a STEP file. I'm not yet a OpenSCAD hero…
I printed with Prusament PET-G, 0.3 mm layer height, 30% infill, 3 outer layers. It came out just perfect. There is no need for any additional model feature to keep the grips in place on the box. You can easily print 6 of them in a row on your printing bed.
Update 2023-01-29: It turned out that I even had boxes with a different grip layout. The lower rounded corners had a much larger diameter for the rounded corners. I added this version as v4. The v2 files have smaller corner radius (same as the 40cm box versions). So I hope that one of these matches yours, and you do not own a differently shaped version.
You can find all necessary parts for support of 30 cm or 40 cm Euroboxes in the remix assembly Eurobox Support (Grips, Clips, Sleeves).
