Description
The stem enables to wind antenna coil for 1616mhz. The polarization is circular and stem It contains both - left and right hand path(L,R). You can chose desired polarization base on your needs. If you transmit an signal using satellite dish with the left. cir. polarization, signal will be mirror to right on dish and transfer to orbit.
With 6 winds the Gain of antenna could be ~ 11DBi,
with 5~10.27DBi,
4~ 9.39DBi.
Minimum reflector diameter should be ~ 115mm.
The coil should be tuned best for:
1552.81-1681.75Mhz (@-1dB)
For winding I recommend to use classic electrical 2.5mm copper wire. If you plan to transmit, do not forget to add some compensation copper band on the end. Since coil resistance would be different from 50 ohm.
