Description

This is a drum sticks holder for electronic drum sets with 1.5 inches (38.1 mm) o.d. tube frame. This frame tube size is very commonly seen on Yamaha, Roland and Alesis electric drum sets.

The drum sticks holder is designed to clip onto the tube frame. To add friction and make it more secure from vibrations, a piece of anti slip material (cut from drawer liner mat) can be used in the inner side of the clip. See picture for details.

You need one bracket and two tubes for the drum sticks holder. The bracket can be printed on its side without support. The threaded holes should print well if your printer can handle reasonable overhangs. Tubes should be printed with opening side down, and brims are recommended.

To assemble, the tubes should be inserted bottom-first into the threaded hole from the arc side, then threaded in place. The threads in the holes stop about 0.6 mm from the bottom (the bracket opening side), to prevent the tubes from undoing themselves over time. So it will not work if you attempt to thread the tubes from the opening side of the bracket.
