Princess Peach Hanging Ornament

This is an 8-bit Princess Peach - as in original Super Mario Bros., "our princess is in another castle" pre-blonde Princess Peach - hanging ornament made specifically for multi-extruder printers (though I have included a one-piece model for single-extruder machines). It's perfect for the rear-view mirror, Christmas tree, etc.

Please be aware that - though some post-printing assembly is required - the fully colourized version of this model was not designed to be printed in pieces on a single-extruder machine and assembled afterwards. Use peach_onepiece.stl to get everything at once in a single colour.

Print instructions

The print in the cover photo was done on a quad extruder Prusa i3 MK2 MMU as follows:

Step 1:

• peach_black.stl black PLA (extruder 1)
• peach_white.stl white PLA (extruder 2)
• peach_flesh.stl pale flesh PLA (extruder 3)
• peach_red.stl red PLA (extruder 4)

Step 2:

• peach_gold.stl gold PLA (extruder 1)

Assembly:
Because I used more colours than I have extruders, some post-printing assembly is required. After printing the crown separately, simple glue it into the crown-shaped hole in the black backplate. I have made the hole in the backplate slightly bigger than the crown, so everything should fit together quite easily.

For those of you who have fewer extruders (or who like painting a lot more than I do), I have included peach_onepiece.stl, which can be used to print everything at once in a single colour/material, no post-printing assembly required.

When printed at 100% size, the ornament measures approximately 45mm x 78mm.
