Gaggiuino - Rancilio Silvia Touchscreen Housing (replaces water tank lid)

Updates

13/2/2023: Changed the model to fit the tank better. Had to remove the tamper holder.

Hardware

• 2 M4x10 button-head screws
• 2 M4 nuts
• Loctite 242/243 or equivalent

Attaching the lid: 

1. Cut a piece of 1.75 mm filament with 5-10 mm extra length and use a heat gun to straighten if necessary
2. Thread filament through the plate and lid holes and check that the lid rotates freely
3. Melt one end of the filament to the plate with a soldering iron
4. Cut the other end of the filament so there's about 1 mm extra sticking out of the plate to melt
5. Melt other end of the filament to the plate with a soldering iron. 
6. File melted areas flush if necessary.

Recommended Print Settings:

PETG (preferred) or PLA, 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.2 mm layers, 30% infill, supports may be needed
