I designed this to provide easy access to my households moderate selection of herbal tea's.
This saves the mess on a shelf as people dig looking for the one that they want, open multiple boxes of the same flavors, and generally make a mess.

With this in place the tea is very accessible, neat and tidy, and the spares can be stored at the back of the shelf.

Print instructions

Unassociated tags: Wall Mount

Print Settings

Printer Brand: Prusa

Printer: i3 MK3

Rafts: No

Supports: Yes

Resolution: 0.2mm

Infill: 20%

Notes:

Using supports makes the pins much neater, but may not be necessary. The support material used however is minimal.

I printed the bottom part as a size check, then printed one full box to verify the design.
I then batch printed the remaining 4, arrayed and arranged in the slicer.

Post-Printing

Installation

I used a standard internal taper head screw to attach the first box where desired. The rest of the boxes can be lined up and connected (with the pins) adding additional screws only as required.I only needed a screw in each end.

Note: The pattern in the from provides a nice feature, but also clearance for a screwdriver to access the screw square to the front.

How I Designed This

I was originally going to mount these boxes on a rail that would fix to the wall. However after discussing with a friend and reviewing the base principle, I decided on this much simpler, neater and infinitely expandable design.

The tea box is deliberately a snug fit, to prevent it moving when opening the lid. The flavour can be clearly seen on both the lid and front.Yet it take only a second to remove and replace the box when needed.

Check your tea box size before printing a batch.
