Sweet Heart Collection 2

The Sweet Heart Collection 2 model was created as a tribute to a wonderful classic candy from Necco called Conversation Hearts or Sweethearts. Sadly, this year the company discontinued the candy so classic that if you’re reading this it’s likely been of your life as a child. Great product. Very sad to see it go.

My Sweethearts are made to be 3D printed, not eaten, of course. A wonderful gift for someone near to you. They are sized to fit in the palm at 45mm in size.

Though Sweet Heart Collection designs are optimized for printing is two colors, it will print fine as a one color model. That being said, I encourage users to try to print it in two colors. Easier than you think. If you have a single color printer that has the ability to pause and change filament mid-print then you can easily make this print.

Do your own research on how to pause and change filament mid-print. Once you’re ready to try it, you just need to pause your machine when it completes 12mm of printing and switch to a second color to complete the print.

If you have a Prusa with an MMU2 unit, you don’t need a layered 3D model. Research how to use the advanced settings layer controls to enable a color switch at the 12mm level.

More advanced slicers can put in a pause at a level for a filament change.

Models provided are the full set of 6 and each individual Sweetheart.

Filaments are the exceptional Atomic Filament’s Iridescent Pearlescent PLA. Subtle pinkish cast with other colors inside. The pearlescent quality is wonderfully flat. The red is Atomic’s Gemstone Ruby Red Translucent PLA. Atomic gratefully provided the ideal filaments I was after for my Sweetheart designs. https://atomicfilament.com
