Description
I do not like the official magnetic case, it looks fragile and does not provide cooling just prevents your hands from burning, does not protect front glass at all. So I adressed all of these. This is like a thick bumper case for your phone, but there is a gap between the camera and case where air can flow.
There is place for a 6x1mm magnet to trigger high temperature limit for extended 4K recording.
The grid for the screen module is done in slicer, see pictures. You can do rectangle, circle, potato, however you like.
The print should be quite snug and you may need the tripod mount to remove the camera/screen module from the case.
Printed on ender 2 pro with 95A TPU at about 30 mm/s and 2 mm³/s volumetric limit, ironing enabled for smooth top surfaces.
Print with hard TPU, 0.4 nozzle. Use 50% organic supports with the 2.6 prusaslicer.
General advice for TPU: turn off part cooling fan completely. Turn on only when layer time is below 10 seconds , max speed/slow down at 3 seconds. Bed adhesion can be tricky with some beds, you should use brim or helper disks at the corners. Keep a constant volumetric speed on bowden printers, and high acceleration (over 1200mm2/s2). Retraction is mandatory, extra length on derectraction 0.1mm. You must calibrate printer to have a completely gapless perimeter printing, otherwise you get poor layer and perimeter adhesion. On bowden printer you need to lube a bit the filament. WD40 does the job fine. I just spray a bit on the spool.
Have fun!
