Description
Hi!
This is the first of some collections to come. It's aboutConway's Game of Life.
The main goal in my mind was to obtain a3D printable representation of the Conways automatons to show how ordered structures could emerge from a chaotic state just following simple rules. The result was some sort of weird architectural stuff.
Once developped a crappy software to run the concept i just can't stop generating and saving models. So i've upload60 files ready to print!!!
60 STL's and their thumbnails included in ZIP files (see thumbnails below)
Nice for decoration or as scenery for tabletop games.
Generated procedurally using [Processing] (www.processing.org)
Easy to print, no supports required. See below for some printing tips.
Hope you like it.
Have fun!!
Printer:
Creality CR 10
Rafts:
No
Supports:
No
Resolution:
0.2
Infill:
Doesnt matter
Notes:
Easy print, no supports and it works with any resolution. Scale as you wish (150% models looks great)
I print the models using 0% infill, 2 perimeters, 3 tops and 3 bottomsTo reduce number of retractions (and printing time) one single tip is using 0.2 or 0.3 mms of 'horizontal expansion' so the 'cubes' overlaps a bit and can print as a continous piece
