Hearts Bracelet Dragon Scale Styled

Inspired by cosplay costumes, this 7 inch bracelet takes the dragon skin/dragon scales fabric prints used by cosplayers and replaces the dragon scales with hearts.  3d prints on fabric have a unique feel and inspire curiosity and this print is no exception.

Beads are printed onto the fabric to form the edges of the bracelet.  The bracelet clasp is designed to slide together snuggly, maintaining alignment with a magnet in each clasp to attract the clasps together.  
 

Printing instructions:

This bracelet is 3d printed with a 0.2mm layer height and no supports on pink, sheer mesh fabric available at many big box stores. The first three layers are printed onto the build plate and then a cut piece of fabric is placed onto the print and secured with clips to the build plate.

 To pause at layer at the 3rd layer when using Cura:  

1. Click Post Processing under the Extensions menu
2. Select Modify G-Code
3. Click the Add a script button
4. Select Pause at height
5. Set the Pause at to Layer Number and enter 3 for layer
6. Check the Park Print check box to move the print head to make laying fabric easier.

The 3d print is then continued.  When complete, trim the fabric to size and add a magnet to each end of the bracelet being mindful to install the magnets so that they attract and hold the bracelet closed. Neodymium magnets available from Harbor Freight, item 67488, we're used for the clasps.  Magnet size is 1/8 inch by 5/16 inch (2mm by 8mm).
