Modular Pedalboard

This model allows you to print your own modular pedalboard. It is modular because you can add extra lengths of pedal board in the sideward direction, adding 20cm (or 22cm) each time. The Pedalboard in the picture is 46cm width total. I designed the profiles and feet pretty chunky because I don't really know the forces it has to endure, they didn't call them stompboxes for nothing :)

The Pedalboard gets its strength from the threads that are hidden inside the board. At my local hardware store they are about €2,50 for 1 meter.

Hardware

You will need some extra hardware:

  • M6 thread(in my case 4 threads of 46cm
  • M6 bolts x 8
  • M6 washers
  • M3 screws (between 5 and 15mm length)

Assembly

Print all parts according to your own desired width. Pictures below should help you with the amount of prints needed for each model.

First glue the triangles to the ‘feet’

Second put all the pegs in the profiles, no glue is needed, this is just for lining it up with the feet.

I made a holder for the Voodoo Lab Pedal Power Iso 5. I need to place this between the profiles at this moment, because profiles won't be accessible later.

Screw a nut on top of the four M6 thread, add the washers and push them through the feet. Also put the profiles on the thread.

Add another foot and continue to add the profiles

Add the last foot and the Pedalboard is almost done!

I made caps to hide the nuts. Just push them in the holes.

Add velcro tape over the profiles and on your pedals and you're ready to go!

I also added rubber feet to print in flex filament and mount under the board if you would like.

Printing instruction

Mostly because I'm very impatient and the bigger models are pretty straightforward, I printed the big models on 0,3mm. The smaller parts I printed on 0,1mm.

If positioned well, none of the models need support.

The feet are able to fit on the MK3S build plate on its flat side, but Prusaslicer can't figure that out. You need to do it manually.
