This simple, two-piece print provides a way to combine an adjustable voltage regulator, 6-way power-distribution block and optional voltage display into a single, compact unit suitable for panel mounting.
This was designed to accommodate the following components:
I have provided 3 versions of the DistroFrame depending on your specific needs and installation orientation:
- No voltage display
- Voltage display at one end
- Voltage display along the side (this can be mirrored to place the display on the other side if needed)
Additionally, wiring passthroughs between the frame and distribution block have been provided if your particular installation requires the voltage display be inverted.
Assembly Instructions
- Attach the RegulatorBase to the DistroFrame using #4 flathead screws.
- Install the assembly to your panel/board using fasteners through the center of the base (up to #8/M4 will fit).
- Install the voltage regulator and the distribution block with #4 pan head screws.
- slide the voltage display into place and feed wiring to the distribution block input, or one of the 6 available power terminals.
Notes:
- For side-mounted voltage displays, I found it best to position them on the end closest to the input of the distribution block.
- For end-mounted voltage displays, the voltage meter will restrict access to the input connector on the regulator, so make your connections first, then install the display.
- M3 hardware can be used instead of #4, but it might be a little tight.
