FrSky Taranis X-Lite Playstation-like Gimbal Stick Ends / Thumbsticks

These stick ends try to give you the gamepad thumb stick feeling as you know it from your Playstation or other console, while flying your quad. 

I found this model on Thingiverse but recreated it from scratch to optimize the printability.

You could consider printing in TPU/FLEX for a more rubbery feel. Anyhow, I decided to print mine in PETG and add MatoSan SpaceSan PS5 Thumbstick Grip Caps (others should work as well), for a less DIY and more grippy, rubbery feel:
 

Printing Tips

Not really that much special to take care of here. I printed mine in a 0,15mm layer height standard profile, using PETG. No support is needed, but I would recommend using a brim. When printing more than one at once, I suggest sequential printing - this increases the print quality of the single piece and reduces the chances. Using a concentric top and bottom infill pattern might also help.
