Description
Wanted to experiment with 3D printing a high airflow blowgun using “vase” mode.
Using PrusaSlicer with the settings below allows a “mix-mode” vase printing, whereby the lower section is printed normally and the upper section is printed in vase mode. For this particular model, this is accomplished by setting layer height to 0.2mm and the bottom solid layers to 42. Make sure to select “Spiral vase” mode.
With the settings above, the cylindrical section that mates with the airgun nozzle will be stronger.
Designed for an airgun with nozzle diameter of 10mm. Print “nozzle-fit-test.stl” to verify/adjust fit by increasing/decreasing overall scale. Glue or tape 3D printed high airflow nozzle to airgun. Never point airgun to yourself or others. Use at your own risk.
Typical metal high airflow blowgun from hardware sites.
