Set-and-Forget Self Watering Double Mason Jar Planter

The perfect set-and-forget planter for people living with cats or other plant-munching beings.

My sister sent me a Tik Tok video of someone who was selling a similar 3d printed double mason jar planter and told me she wanted one, as she loves to grow her own herbs but her cat is always eating any plants she tries to grow. Frustratingly, the prints being shown in the Tik Tok video were only for sale and the creator wasn't sharing the STL files, so I had to make my own. And of course, I think mine turned out way better in both looks and function.

The jar connector file has triangle-shaped cutouts that allow for airflow as the plant grows, and the planter basket has holes in it to allow for draining as well as a piece of string or macrame to allow the plant to siphon it's own water.

The planter is sized for a wide-mouthed mason jar (the larger size). The kind I used can be found on Amazon here.

The jar connector STL needs supports (organic supports rock!!) and should be printed at a 45 degree angle to get clean threads. The basket does not need supports.
