Sliding Gate Valve

I use 3 of these Gate Valves to control enclosure temperature as measured inside by LCD gages.  They are made with PC to handle temperature as I use a heat gun thru one valve for pre-heating the system.  There are 4 main parts: Base, Cover, Slide Gate, & friction Knob.  The Cover has two integral springs that hold the Slide Gate against the hole to seal.  You will need to be careful with them when cleaning.  Just Cut the Gate out of a piece of 3/16" thick acrylic sheet using dimensions provided.  The Knob is used to open and close the Gate and tighten (A screw and nut does the trick).  PC has good spring action, but I suppose other materials are ok too. Three STL files are provided.  When assembled, you have to make a hole thru the enclosure for the Base tube and glue it all to the wall.  It works well.
