Heart puzzle piece router template

In my picture, I printed at 100% scale. I used Walnut and Maple to make the wood parts. I glued together with Titebond3 and finished with butcher block wax.

Please do your research if you attempt to route these out. The grain will be moving in several directions and can be dangerous depending on the bit you use, the direction you move the router, etc.

These are intended to fit pretty tight together. If your printer is not calibrated you may have to sand the plastic parts to get them to fit perfectly. The better your plastic templates, the better it will transfer to the wood.

1/ Print out each half. I used PETG with extra walls.

2/ Super glue to wood. Use blue tape to protect the wood.

3/ Use router with a flush trim bit or pattern bit to trim to exact size of print.

4/ Glue together.
