Heat Inserts mod for Rugged TS80p Case

If you are a fan of heat inserts you can find many use for them ;) Like I did for this excellent “rugged” version of a case for my TS80p. Please find there more trays (to fit Pinecil or TS100).

I used M3 heat inserts with 4.6mm OD and 4mm length. Please be careful when inserting them, since the walls of the hinges are quite thin. I heated my TS80p at only 180°C and inserted them slowly. I have also used six M3 x 20mm screws.
