Laptop Mount for IKEA FREDDE Gaming desk

This is a Laptop mount that fit the frame of IKEA FREDDE Gaming desk.

I designed the mount to fit a surface laptop 2, which is around 22.3cm wide (22.8cm when opened) so there is 5mm gap between the screen back and the desk frame. however any 13.5" (or lower) laptop should fit.

However, you can download the f3d file if you want to modify the design to fit a larger or small laptor.

You also need

• 4x M6 nuts
• 2x 20mm M6 screw
• 1x 25mm M6 screw
• 1x 40mm M6 screw
• 2x 10mm M3 screw /not necessary
• 2x M3 Injection Molding Brass Knurled Thread Inserts (4mm outside diameter)/not necessary

Note:

• the fitting item is designed to protect the frame from scratches when you're fixing the mount to the frame, so I would recommend to use TPU, but it's not necessary to use this material.
• the surface laptop 2 is 1.2Kg, so using PLA is pretty safe. For a heavier laptop, I would suggest to use PETG.
