Description
I designed another eyeglass case based on the wonderfully designed eyeglass case posted.
The pattern on the exterior surface is a traditional Japanese pattern called "Koji-Tsunagi".
No support is needed, if you turn on the support, you will not be able to remove the support inside the hinge.
In the photo, the exterior is PLA and the interior is TPU, printed with thinner walls for softness.
The latch uses ∅8mmx1.5mm neodymium magnets.
The hinge is made of 1.75mm filament (TPU will not break)
Kouji tsunagi (工字繋ぎ) is a pattern of regularly arranged diagonal "工" characters, and is often seen as a kimono jimon (fabric pattern). The "kuji tsunagi" pattern is said to have the meaning of prolonging life and longevity.
