Description
After purchasing my beloved Gritzner 788 serger I noticed that I did not like the presser foot lifter to be on the left side of the machine. I am used to have everything on the right side.
Now, some years into owning this machine I decided to create this mechanic so that I am able to lift the presser foot from the right side.

Notes:
The parts have not been rotated for printing. Use your slicer to orient them in the most convenient way for you to print them. As none of the parts need support, this may give an additional hint on how to put them onto your print bed.
Assembly hints:
Additional parts needed
* 3M double sided tape, removable, thickness about 1mm * two M4 rods: 90mm and 120mm * one M6 rod: 300mm * a bunch of M4 and M6 nuts and washers (see photos for details)First things first
Stick the three blocks to the backside of your machine with the double sided tape. You can see the correct spots on the photos and the schemativ view. The 3M tape, very strong on the one hand, can be removed easily without any residue on the other hand.
The lever assembly
Put the ball into the cutout of the lever, add a little bit of glue to the surrounding plastic and put the ball plate on top of it. Let it dry but make sure that the ball moves freely.
How to fix the rod connectors to the bellcranks and the driver?
To hold the rod connectors in place simply put them through the holes of their corresponding parts, then take a lighter, heat some kind of flat metal tool (a knife, a screw driver i.e.) and press the hot tool on the small rod connector shaft to flatten it a bit - see detail fotos. Be careful not to melt the whole shaft onto its counterpart. The rod connectors should turn freely, but must not fall out.
How to prevent the lever from falling from its shaft?
Do the same as you did with the rod connectors: simply press a flat, heated piece of metal onto the shaft. This will melt the shaft a bit at the outer end so that the lever cannot slip of it anymore.
Align the rods carefully!
Try to carefully align the rod connectors in a 90 degree angle to the shaft, so that the force is applied evenly to the bellcranks and the driver.
Regarding the shim...
The small shim may be necessary when you attach the driver to the presser foot lifter and you feel that it is very loose fit. Simply push it between the driver and the lifter, see detail photo.
