Gridfinity Faceplate for Bambu Lab P1P

Update: Found an old version I had lost and updated some of the issues. Enlarged the holes for the screen. Added a cutout on the back of the screen so that the screen had been squeezed for the removal. Rounded off the top of the gridfinity slots for easier printing without supports. Supports will still be necessary for the lcd cutout since the lower portion has too big of a span for printing without.

I didn't think people would would actually like this model so I admit that I didn't put as much attention into it. It was just fill a personal need and I dropped it here after it worked for me. I'm sorry for any fitment issues that anyone has had with it. The cad file is included if anyone wants to modify it further. My original plan had a arm that gripped the mystery hole on the top panel for support but couldn't make it work and print well. If anyone wants to try to support the right side better, please take a crack at it.

While printing my ARC enclosure, I designed this combination of 3D Sourcerer Bu faceplate and a Gridfinity baseplate. My goal was to leave the top panel unobstructed. There should be plenty of clearance for the arc front panel.

Printing:

I printed in petg but pla may actually fair better since it is stiffer and there is some flex at the end with petg. Supports are necessary for the gridfinity slots. They will require some cleanup to get them smooth for easy insertion of bins.

Installation:

Install same as Bu faceplate. You may consider installing double sided tape at the end to cut down on sag but is functional without it. Enjoy same as any Gridfinity baseplate.
