What?

The Z-Top is an alternative lid design for the electronics box enclosure, which attaches seamlessly to your Prusa MINI or MINI+. The Z-Top connects at the base of the z-axis and replaces the lid of the stock electronics board enclosure, using the same mechanism for attachment. 

This is a remix of Prusa MINI Z-Top | Electronics Box Lid and a remix of Prusa MINI | Electronics Box Lid.

Why?

1st model: I liked the idea of more place/air in the electronics box enclosure and the hexagon pattern at the top. But I disliked the holes at the top (in the lid) as it surely will let more dust onto the Buddy board.

2nd model: I liked the idea of holes at the sides, but the lid was missing a lip. Also, the lid was 100% solid.

So, a remix was born:

• Holes moved from the lid to the sides of the base
• The holes in the lid were filled in so no dust could come in from the top, yet still remain the hexagon pattern

Recommendation

I suggest printing the lid upside down (top facing the hotbed) thus getting the best smooth surface on the top of the lid.
