Wall Mount Brackets for Fast-Printing Drawer System

This is a wall-mounting system for the fantastic fast-printing modular drawer system by LR3DUK (and is shared with their kind permission). You can find the drawer system itself here:

This drawer system is being used in our house to organise seeds, crafting supplies and electronics. The drawers and frames print really quickly and cheaply in vase mode, and are surprisingly sturday. LR3DUK also sells models for an improved system with drawers and frames in different sizes, which is a bargain at the price - you can find that on Cults3d (but note that these brackets are not compatible with that design).

These mounts simply interlock with the original drawer system frames to allow them to be mounted on a wall (perhaps using a printable plasterboard wall plug!). These mounts are not for printing in vase-mode though - they need to be printed in ‘standard’ mode, ideally in the orientation supplied (lying on their backs). No supports are required, and they work well in ordinary PLA. The screwholes are sized for 4.2mm diameter screws. The bottom bracket has square gussets, which may seem unnecessary but allows your drawer unit to be free-standing if you need to take it off the wall for a time. The brackets are comfortably strong enough to carry any load that the drawers and frames can manage.
