Description
It has a 0.2mm layer on either side of the bulk of the section so that they can be printed in a different colour at those layer heights, in the photo as you can see I did either side in black with the middle in white. This does mean that the middle is considered a bridge on the second layer.
Recommend the following settings, however this was only my first attempt at such and the bottom did not fully come out as desired, I will attempt to change that over time and update this.
Filament: PETG (recommend probably ABS for UV protection as it will be in a car, I just didn't have any, nor a setup for it)
Nozzle Temperature: 220
Bed Temperature: 90
Nozzle: 0.4mm
Layer Height: 0.2mm
Infill: 100% rectilinear
Top Infill: Rectilinear
Bottom Infill: Archimedean Chords (so it fills in the outline nicer)
Perimeters: 3 (set up the hole for the string to only have 1 or 2 to look a little nicer)
Speed: However you prefer, on bridges: 45 mm/s
Bridge flow ratio: 0.9 (this may actually need to be increased slightly)
Cooling: 100% on bridges, auto cooling for everything else (sits around 10% usually)
Colour Changes on layer heights 0.4 and 2.4
When I printed this and changed from black to white after the first layer, it went to the middle section of the hand and began printing and some of the black was still in the white so it made that side look grey for half of the hand, so either extrude out more white upon colour change or see if there's a way to change where the infill starts so it starts on the side and not in the middle
