Description
The lamp is a complete redesign of Evocato's “Gyroid Lampshade” and uses an E27 instead of an E14 lamp base by default.
Most parts of the lamp can be cutomized in Fusion 360 using its parameter feature, for example if you have another lamp base or special size of light bulb.
For non-Prusa parts and filaments, check out 3DJake (International, UK, Germany, France).
I'll get a small cut of any order you fulfil using these links (at no additional cost for you 😉).
If you want to support my work directly, you can buy me a coffee.
If you want to order a Prusa printer and earn some Prusameters (I will also get some), you can use my referral code "@Whity" at checkout or click one of the following links
(the code only works for the first order of each printer model):
| CORE One | CORE One Kit | MK4 | MK4 Kit | MINI+ | MINI+ Kit | XL | SL1S | SL1S+CW1S |
Also check out my other models.
You'll need a lamp base and a (smart) LED light bulb to finish the project.
If you want to print the lamp without modifying anything, you need a lamp base with a thread diameter of ~41.5 mm and a maximal diameter of 49 mm. I used this lamp base if you want to order the same one I used.
A modifier is used to get the gyroid (infill) effect in Prusa Slicer. If you slice it yourself, check out the 3mf to see how it's done.
I also applied a light “fuzzy skin” effect for one of the lamps I printed for myself, which looks very nice btw. and I highly recommend it.
IMPORTANT:
The provided 3mf file is preset to use a 0.6 mm nozzle!
If another nozzle size is used, or the model was customized, some adjustments MUST be made in Prusa Slicer because the infill position/alignment and density changes if the size or nozzle changes.
You'll need to find the correct combination of infill density and positioning of the infill by trial and error. The latter is done by (slightly) moving the two small discs you see in the 3mf file.
ALL sides have to look like this to get the optimal result:
