Description
Video of this in action, with context:
Check out online recipes for making the mixture, using sawdust, potato starch, etc. A PDF is also attached here in the files section, with the recipes from the linked video.
This print is done in 3 pieces:
Simply pack the press with ~¼ cup (60 ml) of your mixture. Use moderate pressure to form the bisquette - I found that stepping on it with my foot was adequate. You can also use a vice or other press, if you printed this with enough strength.
For print settings, you can use almost any material. PETG is probably a good choice, to avoid a brittle failure under pressure. Use 3 or 4 perimeters, with ~50% infill. I used 0.6mm line width and 0.28mm layer height to reduce print time.
No supports are needed!
