Description
I needed to solder a bunch of these LED heat sink boards for a project. Didn't want to pay $5/ea assembled so I decided to solder them myself. I bought a bunch of these LEDs, a bunch of these heat sinks, added some thermal compound and made 'em myself.
After doing a few (and messing up a couple) I decided I needed something to hold the boards so I could move faster. Whipped this up and thought it might be handy to someone. One is for a 3x3 array so you can do a bunch at the same time, the other is for one-offs. I'd print them in ABS or polycarb so they'll last longer with the heat. Sides are square so you can mount the jig in a vise.
