Description
I liked the shape and size of JP3D's model, but the mounting holes were giving me some troubles. When I removed the screw for the AC end of the power supply(PS), an L-shaped clamp came loose inside the PS.
So I decided to change the mounting solution…… I decided to use the mounting solution provided by Meanwell…..4 slots in the Aluminum casing
This design uses 5 M3 heat inserts and 5 M3x8 cap screws and uses the Fuse IEC supplied in the Ratrig V-Minion Full Kit.
I also uploaded the Fusion 360 files
Edited: I uploaded a new version of the AC end to make the opening 63mm from 62mm
Edited: I added the mounting arms .3mf file with modifiers that I used to mount power supply to the front of the printer….. You can use the mounting arms from the files from the original model that I re-mixed.. They used flat-head screws to attach… I wanted to use socket head cap screws, so I used another re-mix of the original makers file, but he added a modifier to allow the use of a cap screw…. I wanted one of the arms to be the mirror image of the other and both needed a little clearance for the t-nut, so I added a modifier for that too
