Description
Long ago, I built hardwood enclosures for the the C-Note speaker kit. The sound from these simple speakers were amazing. I intended to also 3D print an enclosure to compare any loss of sound quality that might be offset by the decreased effort of 3D printing. I translated the dimensions of the enclosure, dimensions of the cutouts, and added necessary holes for threaded inserts to mount all the components. Supports would have been an issue just printing the enclosure outright so I split it in two and added a lip to one side to add more gluing and alignment surfaces.
At that point, other projects took priority and the spare parts were lost in a move. Rather than let the effort go to waste I am posting the model here for anyone who may want to attempt this. Before anyone does, review the model paying special attention to the diameters of the holes for the inserts and the overall thickness of the enclosure.
STLs and STEP files are being provided but again review the STEP file before directly printing the STLs.
