These are various candles and stands I came up with to wish people a happy birthday in lieu of sending them a card. I removed the personal messages from the originals and kept the basic message so they would be more universal. My husband and I would sign the top surface with a Sharpie pen. Having it in two parts makes it easier to pack and ship. The candle screws into the base. The whole thing weighs only a few ounces so it qualifies for USPS First Class Package shipping. Since there is only one filament change per level, an MMU isn't required to print this
HELPFUL: The flame is the most delicate part of the candle and breaks off easily. I recommend rolling the candle in a piece of cardboard and taping it to protect the flame. To help with repairs, I've included a small hole that runs through the flame and the top part of the candle. To reattach the flame, get a single standard office staple, straighten it, and insert the wire into the exposed holes in the bottom of the flame and the top of the candle. You can also add some crazy glue if desired, but the wire will hold it together just fine. Please see pictures for more information.
ALSO HELPFUL: It's important to print the candle upright as shown in the 3MF file for it turn out right and for easier support removal. The stand doesn't require supports to print successfully. I print these in PLA with 1mm perimeter sides, top & bottom.
