"Bobble Ball" - Cat Toy -- NEW: Groot & J.Prusa Versions

Here it comes, a “Bobble Ball” Toy for your cats and other pets.

(Funny side effect: It also do a great job of taking your little kids busy)

Can be mounted on the floor and at the wall. I use for this knead or also double-sided adhesive tape. The individual parts are only plugged together. It can also be glued in addition, if you want.

The springs can be printed in three different hardness levels. For quick and slow reflexes of your cat. 

• soft
• medium
• hard

The ball is made out of two parts with thread and a hole at the top. So you can weigh down the ball with metal balls or with other filling also use as a rattle. Furthermore, you can attach more strings and threads to the hole.

I recommend to print the ball with 0.15 layers and in PLA to get a cleaner thread. Everthing else as follow:

My print settings:

• Nozzle size: 0.40mm
• Layer height: 0.20mm
• Material: PETG
• Supports: No
• Infill: 10%      

→ Important: For the springs set the infill “fill-angle” on 30°.

Update:

Make your own "bobble ball" very easily.
To do this, add a negative volume (cylinder Ø2.5mm, length 8mm) to any model. Ready is your bobble head. As an example, take a look at the .3mf of J. Prusa's head.  (took it from here: https://www.printables.com/de/model/20-little-josef-prusa-character-single-color)

• Added Groots head, arms and plant pot. 
• Change one diameter on the springs, to get the arms for Groot on a lower position.
