Description
This is a remix of ijohansson's "CR-10S Pro v2 cable chain with 90 degree brackets" but it is designed for the slightly narrower ribbon cable on the version 1 printer which I have.
So in other words, if you have a CR10S Pro V1, you can use this model, and chain from the "CR-10S PRO side Cable Chain" by Raymagic (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3318059).
If you have a CR10S Pro V2 (which has a slightly wider ribbon cable), I suggest using a different model, since this one will not fit the wider ribbon on the V2 very well.
This will require about 28-30 of the chain sections from raymagic's cable chain linked below:
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3318059
Parts required:
2x 12x3mm cylindrical magnets (which are optional but may help to secure the lower part)
1x M4x8mm screw
1x T-nut and suitable screw to mount the lower part to the vertical extrusion
Note that the that the hole which the M4x8 screw goes into to secure the upper mount (on my printer at least) is not threaded so I just used the screw to cut the threads. But ideally the hole would be tapped since it is easy to strip the threads out this way.
The parts are not arranged for printing, but you can see the pics for a suggested orientation. I would recommend using supports everywhere and also using tree supports in Cura (both types will help better support the large overhang on the base).
Thanks for looking, if you like this thing, please like it or download it (which helps to get me closer to my first free spool of Prusament). Or you can check out my site, to see what other projects are in the works.
The STEP file is included for easy remixing.
