Glasses Frames For Prescription Lenses

It's just a bit of fun. I have designed and printed a pair of glasses frames to suit my glass's lens shape in clear PETG Prusament.

I have attached the part models of the frames and arms in a STEP format if anyone would like to customise the models and have a go at printing the glasses to suit your lenses.

The glasses frames are constructed similarly to a normal pair of glass. The lenses pop into a chamfered aperture, and the arm clip into place via a knuckled hinge. To achieve the curvature of the frames to suit the lenses. I lightly warmed the frame with a hot-air gun to achieve the final shape. 

Printing Information

• 0.15mm layer height.
• 100% infill.
• 0.4mm nozzle diameter.
• Prusament PETG was used.
