Description
Most of the purge buckets I have seen and used do not have a good way to distribute the purge strings. They tend to build up under the printer's discharge chute and eventually back up into the printer regardless of the size of the bucket. I had a print fail overnight after about 500 poops that backed up into the printer (see photo). I wanted a way to minimize the potential for the poops to build up in front of the discharge chute, so I designed a “ramp” that makes sure the chute opening is clear. It's a concept at this point. All walls are 1mm. Use Arachne wall generator to ensure only 2 walls. 5% Rectilinear infill. 260g, 7hr (on X1 Carbon). Versions with and without the “handle” in the back. Fusion file included.
